WHO WE ARE

Kosta D and the Fortune Tellers are an independent UK band playing across London, the South East and beyond, mixing indie rock, melodic songwriting and the occasional psychedelic detour.

The story began in 2019, with the band's first gig at Bar 42 in Worthing. Early releases including Alluring and Seaside Town began picking up listeners, while a changing line-up gradually developed into the Fortune Tellers of today.

Since then, they've released a steady stream of original music and taken it to stages including The Dublin Castle, The Prince Albert, The Amersham Arms, Reigate New Music Festival, FeastyFest and, in 2026, GuilFest. They also ventured rather further north for their first overseas show at Lemmy in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Their debut album, Tales of a Travelling Circus, arrived in May 2025, followed by new singles including Things Never the Same, Strangers in a Lift and Doppelganger. Their second album, Until the End Credits Roll, arrives in September 2026, led by the cinematic new single End Credits.

Along the way their original songs have received radio play in the UK, Europe and the USA, while Take the Wrong Turn found itself somewhere slightly unexpected — playing during the pre-match warm-up at Anfield.

Influences wander from The Kinks and Bob Dylan to Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey and The Last Shadow Puppets. The result is difficult to squeeze neatly into one box, which suits them just fine.
